The Engineering division is one of the three divisions within the Authority.

Functions of the Engineering Division

*Planning and monitoring of the radio frequency spectrum;
*Setting and review of national technical standards and radio equipment specifications;
*Enforce compliance of Licensees to the equipment technical specifications and standards and the installation standards;
*Frequency coordination works;
*Review and update of ITU regulations and technical specifications;
*Plan and review the Telecommunications and ICT National Master Plan;
*Run training courses for Amateur Radio Operators, Radio Proficiency Certificate courses and other technical courses relevant to management and the Authority.
*Manage the dot ki domain name system and the Country Code or Numbering plan;
